Ordinary segment totals do not exhaust the Parliamentary constituency result. The difference below remains unallocated to ordinary geographic segments. We do not distribute it proportionately or treat it as a local vote.
The original report separately lists two special polling-station groups for displaced electors, with 29 Inner and 65 Outer stations. Their totals have now been visually reviewed and reconciled below. The remaining difference after ordinary and special-station votes is not labelled as verified postal votes.

↗ CEO Manipur individual segment Form 20s; constituency totals from the compiled Parliamentary report, PDF pp.32, 34. All candidate sums and each ordinary segment's valid + rejected + NOTA accounting reconcile. No inference about individual voter transfers or a 2027 Assembly forecast is made.
Count data identifies the size and location of support. It does not identify voter motives. The accounts below are labelled by what their sources can establish; they are not causal findings for all sixty constituencies.
Candidate explanation, not independently established voter motive
During polling, Bimol Akoijam presented his candidacy as an expression of public dissatisfaction. That is the candidate’s account; the result sheet cannot establish how many voters shared that motivation.
Interview-based interpretation, not a measured causal effect
Scroll quoted political scientist Senjam Mangi Singh linking the Inner result to disappointment with central leadership and confidence in Akoijam. This gives two reported explanations to investigate; it does not measure their contribution to any segment margin.
↗ Scroll · interviews with political scientists and editors · 2024-06-05 ↗
Attributed interpretation; individual voting motives unobserved
The same reporting described interviewees’ concerns about representation and Arthur’s public advocacy on tribal rights. The official field contained Congress, NPF and two independents; BJP had no candidate. Neither the interviews nor the count establish uniform community voting or a causal explanation for every local lead.
Verified context, not a causal explanation of the result
CEO Manipur ordered fresh polls at 11 stations in Inner Manipur and six in Outer Manipur. These notices establish affected locations and dates; they do not measure a change in candidate support caused by the repolls.

There is no reviewed, representative constituency-level exit survey in this publication. A claim that a specific community voted as a bloc, or that one issue determined a seat, would exceed the evidence.
